Baroness Dambisa Moyo is a Zambian-born global economist, author, and corporate director. She is a life peer in the House of Lords (created 2022), a five-time bestselling author on macroeconomics and global affairs, and a serial public-company board director whose present mandates include 3M, Chevron, Condé Nast, Starbucks and National Geographic, with prior service at Barclays, SABMiller, Barrick Gold, and Seagate. Her career trajectory runs from the World Bank (1993) through Goldman Sachs (2001, 2008) into a two-decade arc of board stewardship, thought leadership and policy advisory. She holds a DPhil (Oxford), MPA (Harvard), and MBA (American University).
