Stormzy reads as The Visionary because he acts on conviction before consensus arrives. His Glastonbury headline set, the first by a Black British solo artist on that stage, was framed explicitly as cultural assertion rather than personal triumph. Merky Books, his imprint for underrepresented voices, and the Merky Foundation Cambridge scholarship programme show the same instinct at institutional scale.
