Lou Williams is a Navigator by resume and by temperament. Across eighteen NBA seasons and thirteen teams, he read each situation and adapted with precision rather than imposing his will, developing a side-fade mid-range after ACL surgery and reframing the Sixth Man role as a lifestyle, not a consolation. When a coach in Toronto told him he would never be the same, he reinvented himself, then won back-to-back Sixth Man Awards in LA. Recalibration was the career.
