Gina Miller is a Guyanese-British business owner, transparency campaigner and constitutional litigant. She is the co-founder of SCM Direct (2009), a wealth-management firm built on full fee and holdings transparency; founder of the True and Fair Campaign (2012) calling for an end to financial mis-selling; founder of the MoneyShe financial-literacy platform for women; and leader of two landmark constitutional cases, R (Miller) v Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union (2016, 17) which established that Article 50 required parliamentary consent, and R (Miller) v The Prime Minister (2019) in which the Supreme Court unanimously ruled the prorogation of Parliament unlawful. She was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws by the University of East London in 2017 and was named the UK's most influential Black person by the Powerlist that same year. She is a domestic-violence survivor, a three-time cancer patient in recovery at time of recording, and was a candidate in the 2025 University of Cambridge Chancellor election.
