Cedric the Entertainer operates as The Orchestrator, a builder of systems that pay off in other people's success. His production company exists, in his own telling, to get comics real money. He hand-picked Tichina Arnold for The Neighborhood and pivoted from stand-up to television when Hollywood cooled on him. Tellingly, his deepest satisfaction is not the spotlight but watching the ecosystem he assembles, writers, talent, formats, succeed at scale.
